HPEd-CON 2026 is the National Conference on Health Professions Education, organized by the Department of Health Professions Education (HPEd) at Birat Medical College Teaching Hospital (BMCTH), Biratnagar, Nepal.
The conference commemorates ten years of HPEd at BMCTH (2016–2026) and serves as a landmark academic platform bringing together educators, clinicians, researchers, healthcare leaders, policymakers, residents, and students. Centred on the themes of Innovation, Inclusion, and Impact, it aims to foster meaningful dialogue on the future of health professions education.

Registration fees
All fees are in Nepalese Rupees (NPR). Early-bird rates close 31 July 2026.

Pre-conference workshops are charged separately at NPR 1,000 per workshop and are limited to 30 delegates each, on a first-come, first-served basis.

HPEd-CON 2026 is hosted at Birat Medical College Teaching Hospital (BMCTH), Biratnagar — a modern academic and healthcare environment built for learning, collaboration, and professional networking.
Biratnagar is Nepal’s second-largest metropolitan city and a major educational, industrial, and healthcare hub, offering a welcoming blend of urban convenience and local culture.
Weather: Biratnagar is generally warm year-round. Pack light, comfortable clothing suitable for subtropical conditions. Updated weather details will be shared closer to the dates.
Accommodation: Budget, standard, and premium options are available near the venue and city centre, with convenient transport to BMCTH. Recommended hotels and special conference rates will be published soon.
