Facilities and Technology
At our Department of Radiodiagnosis and Imaging, we boast state-of-the-art facilities and advanced technology to deliver precise and efficient diagnostic services. We lead the region with Thermo Luminescent Dosimeter (TLD) badges for radiation dose monitoring, ensuring safety in our procedures. Our 1.5 Tesla MRI system provides superior soft tissue contrast and detail through advanced DWI and DTI imaging techniques. We also offer advanced CT technology, being the first outside Kathmandu to deploy a 512-slice CT scanner for high-precision diagnostics with low radiation. Additionally, we are pioneers in premier interventional radiology, offering Trans-arterial Chemoembolization (TACE) to enhance treatment capabilities. Our comprehensive X-ray services cover a wide range of procedures, including HSG, IVP, and portable X-rays for emergency situations. We also feature state-of-the-art radiography with a 45kW HF Fixed RAD System for instant image viewing and bedside radiography in critical care. Furthermore, we provide mammography excellence using the Allenger (Venus) system for unmatched breast imaging quality.
